The Women's War Exhibition
Based on true events that happened in the Aba Province,1929; the Women's War project is based of the stories of these women who stood up for themselves against the colonial masters who wanted them to pay tax. The Unscripted Team together with Tatchero and The Soryteller, came together and retold history, and had an exhibition that ran from the 1st of October,2022 till the 28th of October,2022.
As africans, there is a need to tell our own stories ourselves and try to keep our history, so the exhibition sought to bring to light the struggles of these mad women of Aba. Teaming together to birth this, Tatchero shot the entire film on an iPhone 13 pro max while the images exhibited were shot by The Storyteller with a Sony A7
