Not Beautiful. Necessary.

I didn't set out to make pretty pictures. I picked up a camera in Port Harcourt in 2017, assisting another photographer, trying to figure out what I actually wanted to say. A friend, Odeyemi, who isn't here anymore, told me, "bro, you are a storyteller." That stuck. It became the name. It became the practice.

Since then the work has moved through photography, into documentary film, and back out again — always circling the same question: what does this moment actually mean, and how do I make someone else feel it too. My practice is personal. Even the commercial work carries that same instinct — I'm not interested in the safe version of a story. I'm interested in the true one.
